1 Looks about right.

2 Actually, your list is longer than mine.

4 Well put oh wise one. Why are Republicans (except for Thompson who apparently had all the enthusiasm for office of a tranquilized Dick Chenney, and Paul who's isolationism is too much) afraid of the conservative message? (And more importantly policy) The media feigns McCain love, and has sold him to alot of folks. It's largely a ruse and the affair will sour if he is nominated.

5 Simple; McCain can beat Hillary. McCain is the Anti-Hillary; HIllary is the Anti-Christ.

6 I think Shelly has it.

7 I will vote for McCain if he is the nominee. Until then... well I'll vote for the best candidate.

Posted by: Chuck at February 01, 2008 07:53 AM (FoYPf)

8 McCain won't beat Rodham. He's their dream opponent. As soon as he becomes the candidate the media will jilt him like the sawed-off runt he is, and everyone will hear the stories that many of us already know. You do know about how he dumped his paraplegic ex-wife?

Posted by: Casca at February 01, 2008 10:05 AM (IrbU4)

9 You know, I don't like McCain's business stance, I don't like a whole lot of other things about him, but if the choice is between him and Hillary, or him and the Second-coming-of-the-empty-suit (i.e. Obama), then my vote's for McCain, and to hell with his conservative "impurity". I'd rather have the impurity in the White House than the Hills or the Empty Suit.

10 Nah, better to change the minds of a generation with another helping of Clintonian lying, than get the same results from a faux Republican. Hillary would be a one termer, and she'd unite conservatives behind another Reagan, just like Jimmuh did. McCain will destroy the party, and could keep us from retaking the congress for another thirty years.

Posted by: Casca at February 01, 2008 03:57 PM (MQ9LJ)

11 Yeah, and Hils'll f-up health care, screw up both Iraq and Afghanistan, and unless she listens to Bill, bork the economy through Kyoto and all sorts of other Leftisms her party'll want to implement by dint of owning both Congress and the house. Not to mention that if the US goes abroad again, we won't go in force like we did for Iraq I or this latest incarnation. We'll go like we did in Somalia: In force at first, then petered out at the end. And we won't finish what we start. I really don't want to relive the Clintonian version of Use-of-Force again. Look, Cas, I know what you're sayin', but I really don't think letting things go to pot is the answer. History shows that countries that allow their leadership to lead them to ruin tend not to recover afterwards. Rock bottom is not something to rebound off of.

Posted by: ElMondoHummus at February 01, 2008 04:15 PM (xHyDY)

12 Sorry, Cas. I don't have another thirty years for sure, Hell, I may not have four. I want instant gratificatio, and I donot want to suffer for those four seeing her ugly face and huge butt and piano legs every damn day of my life. You probably loved boot camp. Even four years of Hillary boot camp would kill me. I'm voting for the maverick, RINO, over the sure fire Satan.

13 McCain hasn't stabbed pro-lifers in the back. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Yet.

14 Yup, I'm with Elmondo. Choose the least of the evils.

15 It doesn't matter if McSuck can beat Hitlery, because she is not going to be the nominee. The DNC is behind Osama Hussein and have thrown the Clintonistas out on their asses. Their time is finally through. I don't think McSuck can beat Hussein or Hitlery because too big a percentage of the conservative base will sit it out. No matter what happens, we'll be well on the road to MexAmeriCanada and enjoying the kind of socialized medicine that will bankrupt the country in less than a decade. Well done, ignorant voting masses!

16 Hey, you forget this reason .

Posted by: S.H. Long at February 03, 2008 08:36 AM (AGm8o)

17 Preston, how can you be so wrong, and yet so right? Well actually you're only wrong about one thing. Bronco Bomber won't be the nominee. The rest is spot on. I'll be happy to take your money if you care to wager. As for all of you good Germans preparing to join the Wehrmacht, it won't matter. McCain won't win after the media turns on him, and pulls his pants down in public. The real question is, can Hillary motivate conservatives to vote for McCain? Come October, McCain's negatives will be as high as Hillary's. Can you say, "Keating Five"?

Posted by: Casca at February 03, 2008 10:20 AM (MQ9LJ)

18 Casca's right; Bronco's toast. The Clintons boujght the best time and the best organizers long ago. On Tuesday it will roll over him. We need to pick up the disenchanted and convert them to Romney.

Posted by: Shelly at February 03, 2008 03:22 PM (wearR)

19 Oh, I was proven wrong just about every weekend during football season last fall. And I was wrong about the 2004 election. So it wouldn't be the first time. The only thing worse than me having to vote for Romney in early voting a couple of days ago is the visual of McCain with his pants around his ankles. I may wretch.

20 Let's speak plainly: if whites are a minority and Mexicans become a majority, then we can kiss away our Anglo-American traditions of freedom, limited government, and all the rest. This is the stakes: whether we stay in tact as a people or a new people is "elected" by Washington through social engineering immigration policies. That's why it's probably even preferable a conservative unifying figure like Hillary or Obama is elected and shot down on immigration than if McCain comes into power. His amnesty plan would be a huge disaster, and his lies in defending it only show what a bad dishonest president he would be.

21 A friend commented to us yesterday that this election will tell us who America hates the least among blacks, women, Mormons and crippled old men.

23 it gratifies me to see so many have adopted the moniker I coined: Bronco Bomber.

24 plus, S.H. Long wins the prize for getting my joke.

Posted by: annika at February 05, 2008 01:34 PM (zAOEU)

25 Actually, I thought the 2 periods in Annie's post were a graphical representation of the size of Obama and Hillary's testicles as compared to McCain's.
