I wore sandals to work on casual friday recently. I will never do that again. I could feel the stares and when I told friends they laughed at me for ruining my career. What's the big deal! Its shoes!

BTW, there's a blurb in todays paper about a guy who got sucked over Vernal Falls at Yosemite. Seems the idiot went beyond the barrier cable on the path, and may have been swimming above the falls. Possible honorable mention Darwin Award candidate.

Meghan Gurdon at National Review covered Northwestern U's championship lacrosse team, which went to the White House to meet the President. Some of the members went in flip flops.
