Big Hair Video of the Day

Oh, yeah! More Flirts!

(I wouldn't have done this if one of annika's 6MB readers hadn't mentioned 80's music. Blame him.)

UPDATE:
A different video of this song (with the same lip-synching) can be found here and it's worth watching just for the way the male VJ totally checks out the girl sitting next to him.

1 NOOO!!! Who put in Cher and Peg Bundy as the back-up singers? I don't recognize any of these people from the last vid.

2 Uh oh...Victor, you've done it now! Do we really want to "Buffetize" Annika's Journal? Great pull on The Flirts! Of course this is the most well-known Flirts song: http://youtube.com/watch?v=PsmodtES0bc Immortilized by that GREAT 80's movie, Valley Girl. Perhaps the best movie soundtrack EVER: http://youtube.com/watch?v=33Zddn_v0DM

4 I dare you, Victor... The next time we are 80's music blogging at 6MB, you need to come in and add to the discussion. I'll make sure I invite you over. The Flirts. I think you might be MY hero...

5 I LIKED '80's women's fashions, The feathered hair, the short skirts, it was all good. But DAMN those chicks were fugly!

6 By the 80's disco was almost dead. This might have caused it to flatline.

7 OK, so who were the hottest 80's music chicks? I think we can all include Martha Quinn on our list (any dissenters?). My list would include Kate Pierson (B52s), Jane Weidlin (Go Go's and Sparks), and Susanna Hoffs (Bangles). Belinda Carlisle did not make my list because she dated Mike Marshall of the Dodgers. As a Padre fan, I hate the Dodgers.

8 Debbie Harry. The list starts and ends right there.

9 Except for Terri Nunn. Yeah, the list is two long.

11 Annika, What is going on with comments being kicked out due to content? I'm not cussing or using hate speech... Just askin'...

12 Well, *I* haven't mentioned Madonna because she wasn't as hot as Debbie Harry or Terri Nunn. Can't speak for anyone else.

13 Billy, perhaps you were thinking bad thoughts.
