Here are my recommendations for any of you California voters who have not yet gone to the polls.

I just thought Prop 92 sounded screwy. I have to admit I'd not even heard of it--that's how busy things have been--but when I read it on the ballot today I thought, "Something ain't right."

Annie:
How an we be so far apart?
First, the authors urged a "No" on 91 because it has been taken care of by a legislative method and is no longer needed.
The Indian gaming simply takes money from Vegas and keeps it here; better our tribes and our taxpayers get it than Vegas.
Lastly, congratulations on your first trial. When the jury comes in in your favor, it's better than sex, isn't it?
Tell me where to send the drink.

In true Annikan fashion, you waited until the polls closed to post your guide. I'm afraid that I voted the Shelly ballot.
What's wrong with California having casinos? I'd think a free-marketeer like you would want all of us to have an equal shot at running a casino?

We older folks don't fall for the ads as easily.
Yes, Casca, better than sex. You can't win a trial every night.
Be honest, can you remember smoking a gook with a perfect shot to the head? Good feeling, huh? Especially if he was trying to smoke you at the time.
There you go...

Wow...can't understand how you didn't see right through Prop 93.
Often I look at the bill's sponsors to see who is aligning with it. The name "Fabian Nunez" jumped out at me on that one. I wasn't too pumped to vote in this primary, but I did for just one reason...to vote "No" on 93 and get that punk Nunez out of our state capitol...

Since Annie won't start a new thread 'cause she's still celebrating winning her case, here's a post Romney withdrawal thoght:
Vice Presidential Candidates:
Haley Barbour
Rob Portman
Lindey Graham
Condi Rice
Sarah Palin (hottie)
Others?
I'm betting on Portman or Barbour.
Blog away folks...

Anni (or Fredna, or whatever your real name is...)
I took your advice, though my Virginia ballot wasn't a perfect match. And congrats on your jury win; you always remember your first...
Shelly,
Barbour would be too old-boy-network and drag the ticket down, too close to a Trent Lott type that would repel independents. J.C. Watts might provide a surprise twist and compete in D demographics...
