Fox Calls Ohio

Fox called Ohio at about 9:40 p.m. MSNBC hasn't done so yet. i don't think i've ever seen Chris Matthew look so down. That alone is worth all the aggravation of the last year.

Update: MSNBC just called Ohio and Alaska.

One more point for four more years!

1 Even Fox's own website waited another 15 minutes to call it.

2 He doesn't need another electoral vote -- even if Bush has 269, the election goes to the House and they'll vote him into office. How come you're not on Yahoo?

3 The look on Cokie Roberts face was priceless, worth staying up for. I'm waiting for the Daschle Thune race to be called to pop the corks.

4 Isn't Cokie Roberts a Republican or am I mistaken?

5 Majority in: White House? check Senate? check Reps? check Governors? check Supreme Court nominees on the way: double check! Fuck yeah, the GOP controls it all! Muhahahaha

6 Not so fast here, yes, Bush has won, and Daschle has lost, but that is only two thirds of my trifecta. Yasser Arafat still has to die.

8 You gonna have a poetry day, or do I have to hijack your comments again? Oops, sorry, it's only 6AM on the left coast.

9 Hey Reagan 80; you are mistaken. Cokie's father, the late Hale Boggs, was a leader in the state of Louisiana, and a dyed-in-the-wool Democrat. So is she.

10 One last comment: A.W.O.L on T.V. last night and today... William Jefferson Clinton Hillary Rodman Rodham Terry McAuliff Ed Rendell Zogby (James or John) Tom (I'm sad, so sad) Daschle To quote Gilbert & Sullivan, "I have a little list, of those that won't be missed...".

11 Oh, I didn't know that. I knew she was from my state, but I assumed she defected to the GOP like other Southern Democrats did back in the McGovern and Carter days. Oh well, she's just another Carvillista then. I'm disappointed in her......

12 I'm glad we don't have to worry about that putrid weasel, Chad Clanton, now. He won't be making anymore FCC threats to the conservative sect of the media.........Rush, Boortz, Hannity, Coulter, etc. are SAVED!!

13 Yes her dad was "Hale", and mom was "Lindy" who took the old demoncrat's seat when he was cast down to hell. Cokie went on te be a media whore, and her brother a big time lobbyist in DC. I'm still in love with Shelly.

14 Sorry to disappoint you, Casca, but I've got a wife, an ex-wife, four married kids and nine grandchildren...you have a better shot with Annika. But, thanks for the thought, anyway.

15 Damnit, I guess I'm back to mooning over Annika! LMAO, but we could sure be pals.
