Looks like a character out of one of the early Japanese movies...did he try Japan?
I've never seen anything like that, except we used to have those figures with elastic and beads that would bend, sit down, etc.

Well, they were really really small, only about an inch tall, with round bases, they were neat toys and came in all colors. some had rifles.

We had those toys with elastic and beads that would bend and sit. They were kept in a bag of "car toys", to amuse us on trips, and we thought they were pretty boring. I wish we had had a small army of 1" spacemen with guns. We could've set up intergalactic wars that stretched all over the back seat and the floorboards - if the resulting
warfare sound effects didn't drive our father crazy.

Probably the most damaging thing that I ever did to Casca-2 was to buy him hundreds and hundreds of little green army men, along with companys of tanks, and batteries of artillery. Man I'd wipe them out in the yard eveyr saturday with the lawn mower.

The '60's had the greatest kids toys. We had gaint spring loaded bazokas that would shoot a rock harder than a kid could throw. We had noisy tanks and guns of all types, and best of all we had Lawn Darts!

Kyle, I've done some Googling around on this and have found lots of vintage spacemen/Martian figurines. But with your artwork as my exemplar it's hard to know if any given kind is
the kind. Did they definitely have distinct antennae?

close, but not quite. the ones I remember had very flat and perfectly round bases. Also, they were brown, yellow, and two shades of green, might have had other colors as well.

I had these when I was a kid! (It must've been the mid-70s.) I had completely forgotten them until I saw the pictures just now. As with Victor's link, you'll have to replace the "cee-gee-eye" with the appropriate letters:
